Location: Based out of the Emerald Office, QLD (Servicing Customers across the Bowen Basin)
Hours: 4-day week (Mon–Thursday ~48 hours including travel to/from site)

TNC Cranes is looking for an expert Crane Technician - Boilermaker to join our established team in Emerald, QLD. As the leading crane service provider in the Bowen Basin, our reputation is built on the quality of our work. Your fabrication and welding skills are a critical part of that success.

Your Role as a Crane Technician - Boilermaker:

​

You will be responsible for the structural integrity of our clients' most important lifting assets. Your expertise will ensure our repairs and fabrications meet and exceed the most rigorous industry and safety standards.

​

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on crane girders and components.

• Fabricate new components from technical drawings and specifications.

• Ensure all welding meets Australian Standards for quality, penetration, and precision.

• Clean, prepare, and finish metal stock to an impeccable standard.

• Inspect and tag lifting equipment, including manufacturing and repairing chain slings.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

​

• Relevant Boilermaker / Fabricator Trade Qualifications.

• A valid Driver's Licence.

• Minimum 3 years of welding experience and 2 years of crane experience.

• An expert in your craft with an unwavering commitment to safety and quality.

• Willingness to obtain Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, and other site-required tickets.

• A professional who can liaise with clients and represent our high standards.
